Tasers are legal in the state of Michigan beginning Monday, August 6, 2012!
Current legislation allows licensed Michigan CCW/CPL Holders to buy and carry a single-shot consumer-grade Taser that fires two dart-like electrodes up to 15 feet, or a battery operated stun device. This is big news for those of you who wish to carry a less-than-lethal option for personal protection.
In order to purchase one, you must have a valid Michigan CCW/CPL License - this can take up to 6 months to receive from your local county gun board, so the time to take the class is NOW!!

If I already have a CPL can I just go and buy a Taser or do I need to take further training?
Thanks
Depends on the retailer. By law they are required to have you take a training class prior to purchase, or provide you with one. We offer the class for $25.00 here at our training facility.
