Detroit Arms, LLC, located in Chesterfield, MI. provides NRA Training Courses including training required to obtain your Michigan Concealed Pistol License, otherwise known as a CCW Permit. You may sign up online for our Michigan CCW Classes.

Michigan CCW Class Details:

    Responsibilities of handgun ownership.

    Safe storage, use, and handling of a pistol including, but not limited to, safe storage, use and handling to protect child safety.

    Fundamentals of pistol shooting

    Firearms and the law, including civil liability issues.

    Avoiding criminal attack and controlling a violent confrontation.

    Laws that apply to carrying a concealed pistol in the State of Michigan.

    Criminal and civil responsibilities associated with carrying a concealed pistol.

    At least 5 hours of classroom instruction and 3 hours of range time.

    Class start time is 10:00am SHARP on day of class.

    You will be required to purchase ammo at the range ~ 100 - 150 rounds will be required.

    Class Cost is $150.00 and includes your range fees for the indoor range portion of the course. We will serve snacks and coffee before class start and lunch is provided. Note: Our class is all inclusive with no need to travel to a separate location for the firing portion of the class. Each indoor range lane is individually shielded on both sides for safety and the indoor range is one of the top 3 ranges in midwest

    Instructor is NRA certified and legal portion of class is provided by an MCOLES law enforcement instructor. Class taught is the NRA Personal Protection in the Home Course. All NRA course materials are provided as well as a Michigan Concealed Pistol Permit Application Kit. This class satisifes the requirements for obtaining the Michigan Concealed Pistol Permit.

You may sign up online for our Michigan CCW Class and if you require a firearm, please ensure you let us know. You may purchase one from us prior to the day of the class or rent one the day of the class from the range but we need to know in advance on your rental needs.
