hello, first i am sorry about your friend who was shot, please pass on my well wishes for him to his family and him from me.
i have just recently been discharged from the army after 10 1/2 years of infantry service, and need to renew my CPL i know all i have to do is sign on my renewal to affirm that i have reviewed the law and spent a few hours at a range, but all of my practical knowledge is military related. i have not needed to conceal my sidearm, exept for the limited times when i was off post or doing things not military related, so i believe that i am lacking some practical knowledge. i was wondering if you had an advanced or some other type of class that would cover drawing from concealment or any other hints or tips that i might be able to pick up.

hello, i was wondering why i would need a class for renewing my CPL when there is no provision for it in MI law? all i have to do is sign that i have reveiwed the law and spent time at a range. so long as i sign that i have done that then why do i have to have a class that says i did?

You are absolutely correct – all you need to do is sign an affidavit at the county clerks office that you have spent at least 3 hours reviewing the current law as it pertains to your CCW Permit and that you’ve spent at least an hour at the range in the last 6 months.
We offer the class as an alternative to doing it yourself – many people enjoy hearing the law explained to them by our MCOLES and NRA Certified police officer and spending time with us at the range.

Unfortunately we do not have a range at our facility.
